Last Friday we said goodbye to our current Year 11 students with a leavers breakfast and assembly. Everyone looked amazing as they walked down the red carpet for photo opportunities and said goodbye to their teachers! With exams starting this week, we wish them the best of luck!

In March, the Year 8s visited our local church, St. Andrews. The aims of the visits were to learn about the features of the church, how Christians celebrate Easter and how the church serves the local community. The behaviour and respect to the place of worship were outstanding!

On the 23rd April, we celebrate the birth of, arguably, England's greatest playwright – William Shakespeare. His legacy is as rich as his work and his plays have influenced many adaptations. Even Disney have adapted his work and The Lion King is heavily influenced by Hamlet!

Rooks Heath is collecting any left over foreign currency that you might have at home towards refurbishment of the student toilets. We can take coins and notes, in any denomination, from any country. This can be brought to Tutor Time or dropped in the collection box at reception!

March saw the return of our popular ScientastiQuiz for Years 7 and 8. Tutor Groups battled it out for the top spots through a series of scientific tasks and quizzes with 7W And 8W coming out on top!

Eight of our Year 10 students recently attended the Maths Feast on Tuesday, March 12th. It was the first time our students had attended this event, and they had a great experience with problem-solving and understanding how maths relates to the real world!
