Airborne infection control needs to become standard in all healthcare settings. Going to a hospital shouldn’t mean forcible infection with illnesses- especially when the ppl in them are already vulnerable

Months before I got Covid for the first time, I wrote this piece about lack of infection control in hospitals.

7. Scientists don’t ignore other scientists. If you’re ignoring their expertise, you’ve left any claim of science as you’re now practicing dogma…that is, a form of religion.

8. The WHO has finally said it publicly, but you’re still on the ‘N95 no high quality evidence’ trope.

Agree fully we need an inquiry. Lots that needs documentation if only to aid another group of clean air advocates in 25 years.

But to be clear. Anyone who asserts that evidence is poor about N95 effectiveness versus bioaerosols, is confirming they are not conversant with science

BTW, #wastewater surveillance is not ideal for #influenza . It can be detected in WW, but nowhere near as sensitive as for SARS-CoV-2, which is shed in the gut abundantly. Not so for influenza. #H5N1

Not only does CO2 provide a measure of rebreathed fraction & a proxy for fresh air intake, it’s also a measure of air pH which directly impacts viral decay.
