Planning a prescribed burn? Notification to the SCFC while burning outdoors is REQUIRED if you live outside of city/town limits. Citizens planning to conduct a prescribed burn must call (800) 777-3473 and speak to a SCFC dispatcher who will walk you through the approval process.
