Received a visit earlier from a councillor. The same rubbish is being said by LE candidates all over #Ireland . Climate change, but I want a big massive car park. The political establishment simply doesn't understand the societal changes required to make 'resilient communities'.

Decarbonising the energy system doesn't 'replace' decarbonising agriculture. We have to do both!

And we are in a biodiversity crisis *as well as* a climate crisis.

This is the opposite of leadership.

It's important to set the record straight in public discussion, especially when journalists say things that can mislead the public.
