Guy in GP surgery: 'I won't have Covid vaccine because the vaccine gives you Covid'. Our member: 'that's not true'. Surprise intervention from GP receptionist: 'the vaccine is causing more harm than Covid'. Patients: 'we won't have it either'. No wonder we have measles parties.

Stephen Morgan MP You’re ignoring the main reason children are missing school and that illness! You need to introduce clean air policies and sensible measures to keep children at home if they are unwell. Make schools safer for all children and staff!

Hi Stephen Morgan MP

Who said this 👇?

“Ventilation is key to reducing the spread of covid in schools. The government’s advice to simply open windows is not fair on children.….The Conservatives never have a plan, and our children are paying the price”

Stephen Morgan MP As Bridget Phillipson seems to ignore indoor ventilation in schools through Hepa files perhaps you could look at all of the evidence on how it works maybe start with looking into the ventilation system installed into the Houses of Parliament and DfE

Stephen Morgan MP Perhaps Labour could acknowledge & get a grip on the significant sickness absence burden data which is the MAIN DRIVER of persistent absence as per The Centre for Social Justice You are ignoring it just like the Tories. The kids are sick as are the teachers.

Every time Labour posts one of these claims, everybody reminds the that illness is the biggest driver of absence and airborne disease IN SCHOOL is the chief culprit. I have yet to see a single response, positive or negative from the OP. Studiously ignoring.

tern This of course is probably the grand plan of decision makers . I can’t as a GP distinguish strokes/ heart attacks/ diabetes from COVID from those of any other cause when so few testing & so many asymptomatic cases. Explosion of illness everywhere defying any analysis.

All the things it was reported covid can do to you in 2020-2022 (this from March 2022) didn't stop being possible because the media stopped reporting it, your government stopped talking about it and your hospital stopped testing for it

You’d think SOMEONE in a position of power ( eg CMO) would break rank with the madness of the ‘let it rip’ COVID approach , resign & publicly declare how dangerous & delusional it is. In fact I’m sure someone will but who will be the 1st ? It genuinely would be revolutionary.

With no mitigations to reduce the spread of Covid, we keep getting infected again & again.

But reinfections aren’t harmless.

Each infection is a game of Covid Roulette as to whether you’ll end up with long-term health repercussions.

And this study from Prof. Al-Aly (Ziyad Al-Aly, MD) also clearly demonstrated that the risk of developing Long Covid increases with each successive reinfection.

Just because you’ve had Covid before and were fine, it doesn’t mean you’ll be fine next time…

Multiple studies show that the risk of Long Covid increases with each subsequent infection.

This study from Statistics Canada showed that the risk of developing Long Covid is:

📍15% after 1 infection

📍25% after 2 infections

📍38% after 3+ infections - that’s 1 in 2.6 people!

So, cases are slowly dropping.
Lots more people will still catch it while they do.
Let's see what happens next.

We've had a fair bit of pneumonia, and another one admitted yesterday without being tested for Covid.
