7 May 2024 was the first day that UCAS was open for 2025 applications. Year 12 at Salesian College were able to attend a workshop where they registered for UCAS, as well as exploring degree apprenticeships & MOOC courses, which are examples of independent research and learning.

Being the official theme for World Earth Day 2024 (22nd April) 'Planet vs Plastics', our Y7 D students were invited to the 'litter picking event' promoted by the School Library during Form Time .

The CAFOD young leaders ‘hire a helper’ for a day campaign got off to a flying start with 100s of students bidding for a helpers at break time. This was followed with a chance to go to early lunch with their helper, a visit to the Sixth Form common room & help in their lessons

On day 4 of the Lourdes Pilgrimage, some students rejoined their family groups whilst others visited the High Stations of Cross. In the afternoon they attended the Regional Mass for Met Deep South and were joined by the West Indies Group.
