So the German authorities attack Jewish people who peacefully demonstrate, asking for a ceasefire, in order to protect -supposedly- Jewish people? WTF? How does this work? Same happening in France, USA. One of many examples of an absolute reversal of reality.

Remember, it all began with Israel’s bombing of Iran’s Embassy in Syria's Damascus on April 1st.

An act of war against 2 sovereign states, and a flagrant violation of the UN Charter and the Vienna Convention.

Zero condemnation from Western regimes.

Zero accountability.

The “Rules Based Order” is in roaring form. After six months of throwing international law on the bonfire, all to shield Israel from accountability, something has broken. Israel smashes norms, and other states increasingly follow suit. Every week a new low. We are in freefall.

Gaza is one of the great journalistic scandals of our time.

Israeli leaders made it clear from the start they were going to:

- Starve Gaza

- Erase Gaza from the map

- Give Israeli soldiers total impunity

This should have defined media coverage.

But it didn't.

Why?

“This is not a normal war. The war in Ukraine has killed 500 kids in two years and the war in Gaza has killed over 10,000 in less than five months. We have seen wars before but this is something that is a dark stain on our shared humanity.” -Dr. Fozia Alvi theguardian.com/world/2024/apr…
