Preparing the next generation for the realities of wealth management is vital. That is why I put forth legislation to require fiscal education in grades 9-12. Thank you to Maspeth Federal Savings for providing this Financial Literacy Seminar to the students of Forest Hills High School, Queens, NY! #ForestHills
While in the Capitol last week, my Chief of Staff took the opportunity to attend and support the 27th District's own, Malaika Oglesby, on her graduation from Island Harvest's Workforce Development Institute. Let's all take a moment to congratulate Malaika on her accomplishment!
I was tremendously proud to help rename a street after late Assemblywoman Nettie Mayersohn in the heart of #Electchester which she called home for 66 years. I hope to honor the legacy she left.
Humbled to introduce my constituent U.S. Military Academy at West Point Cadet Tracy Chen in the Assembly Chamber. Cadet Chen aspires to pursue a career in military aviation following graduation. Let's all pause and thank Cadet Chen for her steadfast dedication to the United States and its citizens.
It was an absolute pleasure speaking to St. John's University & St. John's Alumni about working in Albany, representing District 27 and the lessons learned from StJohnsLaw
A.5050 is the first bill I cosponsored & I am proud to have done so. Government should be supporting working-class families, not crushing them with unfunded mandates. Thank you Ed Braunstein for your tireless advocacy on this issue.
Thank you frankhwu Jay Hershenson QC Hillel & Queens College | The City University of New York leadership for engaging the Jewish Community with a Q&A. QC & The City University of New York must do more to combat antisemitism and hold bad actors accountable. This was a good step forward.
