Module 5 of #ScILc44 today! The morning started off with another round of presentations, supporting the learners to direct their #QI projects using improvement project charters. #ScILc44

9/ David Maxwell expanded further into measurement and Dr Gethin Pugh held a second session on technical tools for understanding the system. Both key parts of #QI . #ScILc44

10/ After yesterday’s introduction to the Model for Improvement Framework, the group delved further into PDSA cycles, learning about testing of change ideas. #ScILc44

6/ Dominique Bird introduced the Model for Improvement Framework, with a focus on theory and prediction when planning a PDSA cycle. Later, it was time for measurement, looking at data for improvement. #ScILc44

7/ At the end of day 2, the learners were in breakout groups, learning to identify technical tools to better understand the system they are working in and apply these in their #QI projects. #ScILc44

5/ Today is module 4 of #ScILc44 . The morning started off with group presentations with the learners using improvement project charters to direct their #QI projects.

2/ The day started with a welcome from Dr Gethin Pugh, Clinical Lead for Improvement Cymru Academy followed by Deputy Director of Improvement Cymru, Dominique Bird’s session on the history of improvement science and the role it has across public services in Wales. #ScILc44
