Being a filmmaker/writer who works on film permits during the day has given me a really interesting perspective on shooting in LA and I hope to one day use that knowledge to help people film in LA. Especially productions with smaller budgets.

They are looking for family dramas. Obviously high end. Short stories, books, scripts. They will develop with newer writers so if you have something GREAT let us know.

The way my team was buzzing about my YA pilot script Crescent Sun which is about Black kids battling evil supernatural armies and harboring a 5000 year old teen demigod was a highlight of my day.

And it was the script that was most slept on.
