Columbia's president has asked the NYPD for officers to occupy the campus for 'at least' the next SEVENTEEN DAYS 'to maintain order and ensure encampments are not reestablished.' I can't believe what I just read.

A phalanx of cops in riot gear has descended on Columbia. They've cleared student journalists from the area, leaving only WKCR to broadcast live from a campus under siege. Another shameful show by this feckless administration.
