Pileated woodpecker came in like a wrecking ball 🎢. Large tree (diameter was ~2 feet) with HUGE excavation. If you zoom in you can see the carpenter ant tunnels. Must have been delicious

Pine grosbeaks are winter visitors in my home province of Saskatchewan. They are robin-sized and travel around in groups foraging for seeds. I know they *do* come down to the ground sometimes but I always see them waaaayyy up there (female on the left, male on the right)
