Worked with a guy like that with the fed govt using corp card to make personal purchases that he wasn’t paying off. It continued, so he was fired.

Cutting rates -> increased consumer spending -> higher inflation -> back to where we are now.
Only way to solve this is a forced recession to bring down inflation once and for all. BoC already has egg on its face, they cant risk losing face again
