Another fake BBC video citing Bellingcat is doing the rounds on Russian Telegram.
This time claiming Zelensky’s chief of staff Andriy Yermak paid 27m dollars to be included in Time 100 list.
There have been a few of these BBC/Bellingcat anti-Ukraine fakes in the past months.

This is a good time to remember not to believe everything you read on the internet, especially people who quickly claim to have identified the person of interest in an event like this, and not to reshare speculation spun as facts.

This video has been shared widely today, claiming to show the aftermath of an apparent retaliatory strike by Israel on Isfahan, Iran. But the video is old and unrelated to the events today.

Seeing plenty of old videos from the Middle East plus some video game footage going viral tonight, mostly posted by accounts seeking clout and engagement during a major news event by spreading misinformation and fear.

Double-check everything you see online tonight.

This video, viewed nearly 700,000 times, falsely claims to show the launch of Iranian missiles against Israel last night.

But the video is from 2020, and shows rockets fired by the Turkish military in Syria.

The IDF has just posted this video compilation showing some clips of Iran's retaliatory drone and missile attack against it.

While most of the clips are indeed from tonight, this one at the end is an old clip of a Russian Grad rocket launcher from nearly 10 years ago.

Some russian Telegram channels have shared a screenshot with an Instagram story attributed to the italian newspaper 'Il Fatto Quotidiano'. In the story, there is a photo of a poster with the text 'Pizza Diavola Zelensky' and a drawing of a pizza with pieces of soldiers' corpses.

The sheer amount of hysterical nonsense by so-called 'osint' experts posting clickbait rumours and baseless 'breaking news' alerts about an imminent Iranian strike on Israel in the last week has been utterly embarrassing to watch.

Pro-Kremlin influencers claim the captain of the Dali ship is a Ukrainian.

But online records show a Ukrainian man was the Dali's captain from March to July 2016. The ship that hit the bridge reportedly had an all-Indian crew.

This video, viewed 1.4 million times, claims to show evidence of pre-installed explosives causing the Baltimore Bridge collapse.

What the video shows is not explosives, but most likely electrical wires catching sparks.

This video posted on X with more than 500,000 views doesn't show today's Baltimore Key Bridge collapse.

It's a video published by media outlets, including CNN, in October 2022 attributed to the explosion at the Kerch Bridge in Crimea.
