Non-compete agreements are used by employers to force workers to stay with their companies. It hurts workers, stifles competition and makes our economy less dynamic.

This rule empowers American workers and will build a stronger economy for millions of families.

Some 4 million more American workers will now get paid overtime when they work for more than 40 hours a week, thanks to President Biden.
 
That means that if you are a lower-paid salaried worker, you can get overtime just like hourly workers do.

That’s really good news.

The Minnesota Supreme Court has a female majority (again!).

Incoming Justices Theodora Gaïtas and Sarah Hennesy are extremely qualified and I know they will serve Minnesota well while on the bench.

First responders work tirelessly to support our communities in times of crisis.
 
Today, Angie Craig, Senator Amy Klobuchar and I announced funding for a first responder training facility to ensure they have the proper training to keep our communities safe.

You're going to see a lot of takes about this new Title IX rule, but everyone deserves a safe, welcoming place to go to school and that includes LGBTQ+ students.

Title IX paved the way for greater equality in schools. Students deserve to learn without fear of harassment or discrimination based on sex.

I'm glad the Administration overturned Betsy DeVos's rules and updated Title IX to better protect students’ vital civil rights.

It will support nearly 2,000 jobs.
