The 2024 #Raccoon Dog Census# is gearing up. On April 19th, we held an warm-upexchange meeting with more than 20 citizens to review human-raccoon dog interactions and look ahead to this year's survey.
This year's survey will cover 4 districts in Shangha.

Recently, we collaborated with a Fangshan volunteer team to conduct a survey on bird diversity and conservation training.

The Yangtze River Delta Spring Bird Collision Survey has begun!
From April 1st to 7th, we received 666 bird collision survey records from 95 participants, among which 5 records indicated injured or dead birds.

Last weekend, in response to an invitation from the Jiangxi Bird Watching Society, we conducted a public awareness campaign on bird collision prevention in Nanchang. We applied protective films to the glass windows that had previously caused collisions.

Chengduers stopped for snow leopards, giant pandas, and Yunnan golden monkeys. People were curious about conservation work, and the young people interviewed hoped to have more opportunities to get involved in nature conservation.

On the day of spring equinox (春分), volunteers and us organized a special native plant cultivation at the Nanjing Olympics Center. We planted several local plants, they can provide nectar and food source for birds and insects, as well as connecting people with their homeland.

The Dao Gan Festival is an important traditional festival of the Lisu people. We were invited this year to celebrate with our community partners.
Watching the worriors climb up the knife ladder and walk into charcoal fire, we felt blessed with the same courage.

Mach 12,we held the University Conservation Training in Huhan University, teachers and students from different unis gathered together to share and discuss how to contribute to campus biodiversity conservation. We will continue to support their following conservation practices.

Three of our otter monitoring cameras in Guanba Gully have captured footages of otters moving in pairs. It is yet uncertain that these otters are mating pairs. We hope our long-term monitoring can help us know more about this species and facilitate conservation
