So I’ve only surveyed one class period thus far (I have two more to go). But these are the results from my 3rd period APUSH students:

We looked at results from Michael C. Martirone Katie Boland Kevin M. Cline & Mr. Werenka. We’re the outliers.

An absolute stunner of a day in the PNW means drop everything & hike. So a bestie and I went to the Columbia River Gorge and hiked Wahclella Falls. Had to climb over a snow/ice shelf but it was worth it to get this view.

Grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from him at the JMMF Summer Institute in 2010.

He was personable, kind, & funny & I appreciated his tough critiques of my work. I have no doubt that I became a better writer & thinker because of his edits & feedback on my essays.

Student absenteeism creates a domino effect of work for teachers.

Teachers- what systems are you seeing implemented to support your work w/ students who are absent? For example: how are students staying “caught up”? How are you managing missed assessments like exams?
