.Shaun Bailey just did an excellent speech right now on leasehold reform. Wow! You could tell it came from the heart. He backs commonhold and calls for the “gangster like” forfeiture powers to be abolished. Also calls for a Right to Manage revolution. Good!
Brilliant contributions in HoL. Too many to mention, but standouts include Baroness Taylor of Stevenage, OBE, Baroness Pinn, Lord Moylan standing up for RTM, Shaun Bailey ripping into the “gangster-like power” of Forfeiture, Andrew Adonis and Lord Truscott on ground rents, ECHR and Rwanda.
Wow the Lords are really up for beefing up this bill! Regulating managing agents and abolishing forfeiture mentioned again and again.
