Just surfaced from the ordeal that self-published authors know about... sending everything properly formatted, including the cover, paperback, e-book. (I think 🤞, they could send it back.) It was a nightmare folks, my complete focus for over a week, but I'm alive and see sun.🌺

Trying to publish through IngramSpark (as I have easily done for the last two titles) and I am unable to do it. It has become too complicated. Waiting for 'Support' to get back to me. They'd better not give me another article to read. I've read them all.

A notice well-known authors overusing 'head(s)' as a verb. 'She heads down the hall...' (nearly ten times in a few pages) Couldn't she saunter, skip, walk, mosey, bump, skitter, sneak, stomp, etc. down the hall?

Do you take a break from writing before starting a new book? I think I should do that. There should be life beyond writing, right? A book takes me two years to finish writing. I'm not big on celebration. A friend sent a tray of dried fruit after my first book. That was it.

I try to pay attention to slight nuances of physical angst when I read to edit. It usually means that something needs to change.
