I flew all the way from Western Canada to report on the trial of Tommy Robinson, and I'll be damned if some court staffer on a power trip is going to stop me.

What are they going to do? Arrest me, pepper spray me while I'm handcuffed, and ban me from London?

Oh. Wait..um..

There are 6 open seats in the journalist row. I'm wearing my Canadian Independent Press Gallery badge. But I need the British Media Party stamp of approval, I suppose.

How do I get that? Do I need to debase myself like that Sky News lady yesterday?

People in the gallery, if you're reading this: please quit offering me your seats! You're so kind but I'm perfectly fine where I am. I mean it.

To pass the time, I've counted. The gallery of the courtroom hosting Tommy Robinson's trial holds 40 people; plus one journalist (me) sitting on a ledge on the floor.

I don't see any mainstream media in the courtroom. If that changes, I'll update.

If I had to guess, the delay in court is to prevent Tommy Robinson from attending a St George's Day demonstration this afternoon.
