Proud to announce we are moving forward with the acquisition of Ghost Shark!

This Aussie made cutting-edge technology will provide a stealthy, long-range autonomous undersea warfare capability that can conduct persistent intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and strike.

Since Russia is abandoning Armenia, I guess it's time the West steps up and fill the void because these so-called peacekeepers are going to Ukraine to feed the meat cubes

How many Patriot batteries are collecting dust in NATO nations instead of saving Ukrainian lives & infrastructure? It's a disgrace. All these weapons were designed for defending Europe and destroying the Russian military; let them do their job! Send everything!

There needs to be an immediate, much larger follow up to this. The battlegrounds need to be laid today for the vote tomorrow. Force Johnsons hand, again and again and again.

My latest, for Foreign Policy, a dispatch from Ukraine's eastern front, as the ammunition shortages have reached a critical point.

I've read the TIME interview with Navalnaya so you don't have to.

There are many things that are simply incorrect, but there's one point where she is particularly mistaken, and I'll explain why.

She believes that there is a 'mistake of the Ukrainian government.'

1/ Russia has lost at least 46 120mm 2S9 Nona-S according to warspotting, which represents 16% of the 280 units in active service when the invasion started. In this thread I will show how many 2S9 might be left in storage. ⬇️

The level of hypocrisy - most people in the EU don't believe that Russia may invade them, but at the same time they don't want to give Ukraine more arms from their stocks because 'how we can defend ourselves then?'

The special forces are beating the participants of the rally.

Dear friends, help us to spread the word and demand your governments in Europe and US to sanction these bastard pigs in power!

A refreshing thread and one I'd agree with, even sat back in the safety of the West.

Drones are what Ukraine and Russia can get hold of, but they shouldn't become the only tool nor the single most important tool either.

FPV drones are not the key. And not the panacea.

IMHO, the key is:

1) enough artillery shells;
2) well trained infantry;
3) mobility of your forces (AFV).

That’s at least.

Disarming Ukraine will NOT lead to the end of the killing of Ukraine. Disarming Ukraine will only encourage Putin to try to take more Ukrainian land & kill more Ukrainians.

Situation of Ukraine looks similar to the role of Poland in 1939, when in spite of UK and French guarantees country was left alone. Collective West should avoid the same mistake and help Kyiv to win a war with Russia. WW3 is around the corner and the costs will be much higher.

Interesting new Mandiant report. Shows that GRU-linked hackers may have messed with control systems at water utilities in the US & Poland (17-18 Jan), and credibly claimed (2 Mar) to have interfered with a dam in France. This is not normal. services.google.com/fh/files/misc/…

To those who have missed the previous 30 years, here is a short list of the results of negotiations with Russia that it never respected:

1. The Budapest Memorandum of 1994. Russia agreed to “respect independence, sovereignty, and the existing borders of Ukraine” as well as…

I just finished reading this book about Hitler's rise to power and how it was aided by a number of establishment right-wing figures in Germany who were playing cynical games and should've known better. Eerie parallels to the US today. Highly recommended. newyorker.com/magazine/2024/…
