Wonderful to join the BBC Media Action Tanzanian team y’day to kick-off our support for #16Days of activism to reduce gender-based violence around the world.

It was an absolute privilege to spend time with the BBC Media Action Kenya and Somalia (sadly only virtually) teams inc a team photo and a go at newsreading in the main studio in the BBC’s Nairobi Bureau. The Somalia team have been working there for 21 yrs = humbling, inspiring!

Wonderful day spent with the incredible BBC Media Action South Sudan team. My first Africa country visit since starting as CEO and they didn’t disappoint. Lots of fabulous impact stories, serious new Strategy workshop discussions, as well as some fun too.
