Another little adventure for our Year 4 children at High Adventure: racing up to Cowling Pinnacle.

More fun for Year 4 today…

Year 4 have started their residential at High Adventure. The children are doing really well!

Last weekend, two of our girls ran in the National Primary and Year 7 Cross Country Finals. Our Year 5 runner finished an admirable 193rd in a packed and extremely competitive field and our Year 3 runner finished in an incredible 6th place, only seconds off the top 4! Amazing!

This afternoon, the sound workshop moved onto making our own instruments. Great fun, and a chance to use a range of tools.

This morning, Year 3 hosted a Book Bistro where we all read our favourite book and enjoyed a breakfast together 📚

It’s been 4Turing’s turn to do our Sound Workshop today. The first half has been learning about the science of sound. It’s been great!

In Year 3, we’ve been using our Class VR Headsets to explore the Mayan civilisation as part of our Topic work on the history of chocolate.

Christmas dinner at Silsden! 500 meals served today. Massive well done to Mrs Twivey and her kitchen team!!!! You were all amazing and the food was excellent!!!!

SPS Running Club Christmas party. A big thank you to Mrs Raven and all our parent volunteers for putting this on for our children every Friday after school!

We are delighted to announce the installation of our brand new Climbing Wall at AGFS. The design of the wall not only reflects our values, but has been tailored to become an integral part of our GCSE PE qualification. Kong Adventure #climbingwalls 🧗🧗‍♂️

Last day of week 2 at Buckden House. What a fantastic couple of weeks it has been!
