My last night in Spain. Hard to believe back to school on Monday. Hopefully next year, this will be my every day morning view.

Day 5 of Easter break from school. I’m now down to just 3 naps a day.

Completely exhausted when we broke up. Starting to feel vaguely human again now.

Solo Flight to Spain coming up. About 2hr30. Any film recommendations from Prime/Netflix to download. Last trip I had “All quiet on the western front” and “Munich: edge of reason” back. (Doesn’t have to be a war film - that was just coincidence, but both were gripping).

End of term G&T. Happy Easter, everyone.

If you are in teaching and over 55 and get made redundant, I know they can enhance your pension. Do they pay redundancy as well?

If a teacher is called for Jury service over a term/half-term break, can you claim back the holiday? (I’ve been called, but it’s during SATs week, so trying to defer).

You know that SATs paper about the bats. One child got Texas, but told me that bats were “interested in incest”. (I’m assuming he meant “insects” so gave him the mark!)

I’m at the point where I can’t be bothered to read OFSTED’s subject reviews. I’ve no idea what half the terminology used in history planning means. I teach the ch in front of me, adapting to their needs as I go. I don’t understand why people are making it complicated!

The number of scam/ bots I’ve had reply to this is insane. I nearly fell for one of them. Please could the real Ryanair respond.

It had to happen. We got all the way through the classification unit and had a bit of a quiz before I told the class we were starting a new topic in science. A really lovely girl, who didn’t like hearing about microbes said “thank goodness for that. No more micro- orgasms.”

We took our class to Norwich Cathedral today. It was impressively organised with worship, information and activities. Many children said it’s the best outing they’ve been on. Ian Bishop must be exhausted by all those questions!! Thank you all.

Promethean users. Help please.

I know that it’s possible to “cast” works from a laptop to the board via Promethean Share. However, I have a child with eyesight problems and would like to send what’s on my board ( not necessarily my computer) to his laptop. Ideas? Promethean

I’m planning to retire at Christmas and move to Spain (we have a property there). I’m starting to feel a little overwhelmed by the whole process (Brexit wasn’t even a word when we bought the place) as well as what to do with everything in our house here in UK. #HalfTermStress
