45 years ago today, Blair Peach, a schoolteacher and anti-racist campaigner, died as a result of being hit over the head by police. He, along with thousands of others, was demonstrating against the National Front in Southall. Rest in power.

This year marks the 45th anniversary of Blair Peach’s death.

Today we remember Blair Peach. He was murdered while fighting the far right in Southall. We must continue to fight against all hatred and continue the struggle for justice.
