Last week we had the pleasure of attending the Richard Huish College annual Prizegiving Ceremony, celebrating the class of 2023 🎓

Jess Henry, our Head of L&D presented Skye Shields with the Somerset Care Award, which recognises her great care values in her studies and placement 👏🏆

Residents at Grovelands attended a wonderful performance, featuring a trio of musicians from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra 🎼

This was particularly enjoyable for resident Pearl, who is an accomplished musician that has played with the BSO. Pearl plays piano, violin, mandolin and the organ.

Our smiley residents from Grovelands, our dementia, respite and specialist residential care home in Yeovil, soaked up the sunshine on their recent Walking Group outing, to a local park. They even made a few furry friends along the way 🐾

A heartfelt thank you to Nationwide Yeovil branch, who generously donated Easter eggs and flowers to residents within our specialist dementia suite at Grovelands. It was so warmly received by our residents living with dementia 🐣💐

Easter was filled to the brim with fun activities for our residents and their loved ones, across all of our care homes; from egg  hunts, to cuddles with bunnies, ducklings and chicks, parties, baking and decorations.

🐣🐰🪺 We hope you all had as enjoyable an Easter as we did 💚

We're delighted to have received independent reviews, which has led to the Somerset Care Group as a whole, and our Burnworthy House residential care home in South Petherton, receiving Carehome.co.uk Awards.
