My favorite John Sterling memory is him calling my office three times to get me, but I work remotely. They didn't believe it was him but eventually gave him my cell. He called and left a voicemail (that I still have) to tell me the murder mystery 'Laura' was playing on PBS

I was on hand for the first Jackie Robinson Day at Shea Stadium in New York, on April 15, 1997. Jackie's story, the history, and his lasting legacy continue to resonate for all of us.

The thing about Conan, especially the Late Night era, was that they really just threw anything at the wall to see what sticks. And as such, going back through it just unveils so much absurdist humor that are either the dumbest thing ever, pure gold, or both.
