What God creates is always good! In the first five days, all that humankind needed was created. We are made in God’s image and we are worthy because God loves us. The Creator holds us accountable. We can’t be careless or wasteful with God’s creation. Take good care of it. Amen

Start your day with a simple prayer, ”Lord, lead the way.” Then step out the door with a heart full of courage. ‘Let me see your kindness to me in the morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk for my prayer is sincere.’ Psalm 143:8

I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty. John 6:35

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10

Holy God, your Son Jesus Christ came among us to show us the way of compassion. Help us by your Spirit to follow his example, to serve the needs of all your children, and so witness together as Christians to your ways of love and mercy. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen

Those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles – Isaiah 40:31

Gracious God,
You who are the source of all love and goodness:
enable us to recognise the needs of our neighbour.
Help us to be honest about our need for healing. Amen

May we learn from each other how to give, how to receive, how, in joy, to celebrate and how, in pain, to grieve; how to fight for what is right yet not do any wrong; how to be the family to which we all belong.
