This week, we celebrated both our faculty and staff in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week!

This included dress down days, free lunches and desserts, choosing the music for our passing periods, and a treat cart served by our St. Rita Student Government.

Mr. Bogucki’s & Mrs. Earley’s Spanish 2 Honors classes participated in a Food Truck War with each class creating authentic menus and food trucks for seven different Spanish speaking countries.

Congrats to Mrs. Earley’s class who were the winners of the Food Truck War!

All are invited to our 117th Annual Solemn Novena beginning next Monday, May 13, through Tuesday, May 21, in our Shrine Chapel.

Everyone is then welcome to join us in celebrating the Feast Day of St. Rita with our two Feast Day Masses on Wednesday, May 22.

Your 2023 Prep Bowl Champions!

Yesterday, St. Rita Baseball celebrated the life and legacy of longtime freshman baseball coach Steve Lascola ’67 as they held a field ceremony in his honor out at Mike Zunica Field.

The team also retired his number to keep his memory alive amongst future Mustangs.

Throughout this semester, our Ritamen had the opportunity to take part in a Dual Enrollment Introduction to Business class with Saint Xavier.

To close out the class, our Ritamen presented a Shark Tank presentation, in which they had to create a product and pitch it to the class.

Congrats to Liam Nolan ’24 as he is the recipient of the 2024 Mendel Alumni Association Legacy Award!

The purpose of this award is to memorialize Mendel High School and to foster Augustinian ideals of uniting people in the communion of mind, heart, and service of God’s people.

The Spanish Club closed out their festivities for the school year by teaming up with the Cooking Club to make cinnamon apple empanadas!

Our Ritamen did a great job making everything from scratch and their empanadas were delicious!
