Justice Alito cannot be trusted to rule impartially on cases regarding Donald Trump and his efforts to overturn the election.

Congress needs to pass the Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency Act to rein in SCOTUS corruption and implement strict recusal standards.

This is why Congress must pass the SCERT Act, which would require the Supreme Court to adopt *and* abide by a code of conduct.

It would also create an investigative board to review ethics complaints against the justices and set transparency standards.

Crucially, Alito doesn’t deny the flag was flying upside down, doesn’t deny its meaning, doesn’t express any disapproval for it and doesn’t disavow it.

It’s outrageous that Samuel Alito, much like Clarence Thomas, is still presiding over 2020 election cases.

It’s clearer than ever that the right-wing justices are just radical politicians in robes. Congress must reform the Supreme Court.

Our democracy is on the line this fall.

The American people have lost faith in this Supreme Court because of the corrupting influence of undisclosed gifts and favors from billionaires and special interests.
