Friend on cruise, now sailing Cadiz to Valencia. Saw 2 inflatables full with illegals coming from Morocco to Spain. Helicopter arrived to winch them up. What times we live in

3/4 yrs ago had cataracts done. Now glasses for reading only but life was def easier with full time glasses. Now spend half my life looking for readers. Drives husband crazy. Tried fancy attachment to glasses but gets caught in haircuts earrings etc !!

We Always pay for good Travel Insurance, never ever claimed but necessary this time. Submitted forms to Dr. collected & downloaded to Staysure . 4 days later monies back in Account, the relief is enormous. Thank you, 5 star

Well going to be a few more weeks at least with this ankle so rang an Agency & got Cleaners coming , start next week , not cheap but husband has recognised ‘housework is not as easy as he thought plus it just keeps coming ‘ !

2 wks of ready meals, takeaways & eating rubbish,talked husband through Salmon with crushed new potatoes, tenderstem broccoli, mustard & Parmesan sauce. He got very stressed, kitchen like a bomb site but we’ve survived. Said plumbing in washing machine last week more enjoyable !

Omg the joys of bungalow living. Out of shower into bedroom, fully naked & face to face with window cleaner , wash leather in hand . He ducked out of sight. Only young lad & probably put him off women for life. Need a warning system !

Downloaded the Merlin App ready for my Bird Spotting Session. Slipped & fell and am now in A & E. Ankle like a football, thinking ligament hopefully but the pain is horrendous , can’t put on floor & swelling by the minute !!! Husband shaking head

Day 1 school holidays & gchildren going well, played 2 rounds of Cluedo, takeaway Chinese, & bed. Day 2 shopping in Liverpool,Maggie Fu’s for lunch, Charlotte Tilbury & Superdrug for make-up,Nike for top,NewLook for Jeans, £150 worse off. Now making pancakes, 4 days to go !

Crazy really, 2 Deli Cafes in our village, every Sunday packed with young people eating the most amazing brunches, prams & babies everywhere. When mine were young the Market Cafe was a treat, now I can afford it , I can’t get in !!
