When learning a new concept like chords, a new note, or a scale, be sure to always create something original with them. Something as simple as having them make up a melody or chord progression for two minutes and sharing it with the class.

Have learners listen to and discuss Vivaldi’s Spring, watch performances and look for listening maps on YouTube. Once they have an idea, design a listening map of their own using Google Slides, Canva, or good ol’ paper and pencil.
