6-year-old St. John’s County boy dies after a hit and run incident Monday night at North Volusia and West King streets.

The vehicle fled the scene after striking the boy at 6:16 pm.

Police have not released further details or a description of the car.

Per ⁦ActionNewsJax⁩ The driver of this truck and a female passenger were robbing a property on Palm Valley Road 5.5 miles away before fleeing the scene and leading police on a high speed chase that ended at Davis Park.
