rn I’m watching x-men in the living room while eating a burger & my wife is in my room watching a comedy special while eating a burger & the door is open so we’re both reacting to the snippets of what we’re hearing from the other room & talking sporadically & I just love my life

I got really suddenly overwhelmed by emotion two times last night & accidentally cried on stage so naturally I need to be k*lled

tonite we are in

on this the 16th anniversary of my dad’s death, I like to lighten the mood by reminding people I had no idea how to deal with the grief as a child so I compulsively posted *wild* messages on his obit legacy page daily for months after he died

it’s been 16 years since I lost my dad, and the grief never really leaves, just moves around differently in the body. but so does the love. I think of him every day, and I will remind people of his life anytime I am given the chance.
