It was very special to be honored with an Oscar for my ongoing work supporting artists ⁦The Sundance Institute⁩! The Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award is beyond meaningful. And, lots of fun to be at the Academy Awards last night celebrating all the nominees and our love of cinema.

So great to be with our son ⁦Franklin Latt⁩ and his client ⁦Omar Sy⁩ at the CAA Party celebrating the ⁦OSCARS.96⁩ Nominees! Congrats to all the amazing artists who will be honored for their outstanding work!

Such a moving story about my life-long work The Sundance Institute by Ann Hornaday The Washington Post. Everything we do to support artists is always a collaborative effort that I get to do with so many brilliant, passionate colleagues.

Sharing a beautiful celebration of our son Michael Latt at the AAFCA Special Achievement Awards where he received posthumously the Freedom Award. This would have meant the world to Michael and we’re grateful to Gil Robertson and his team.

So great to have a moment with ⁦The Sundance Institute⁩ Sundance Film Festival Alum Billy Luther⁩ and Erica Tremblay at the Spirit Awards. Erica’s debut feature #FANCYDANCE starring Lily Gladstone was just acquired by Apple TV+ for a theatrical and streaming release!

Congratulations The Sundance Institute⁩ Lab Alum A.V. Rockwell, winner of Best First Feature Award at Independent Spirit Awards. A.V., my son Michael Latt & I were together at the premiere of A THOUSAND AND ONE ⁦Sundance Film Festival⁩. A.V. made a beautiful tribute yesterday to Michael.

Great seeing the DIDI team ⁦Film Independent⁩ Indie Spirit Awards: The Sundance Institute Alum Writer/Director Sean Wang and Producers Carlos Lopez Estrada and Valerie Bush. Focus Features just acquired the film for a July release!

It’s very exciting to announce the The Sundance Institute 2024 Momentum Fellows, an extraordinary group of 8 filmmakers whose visionary first features made a huge impact on world audiences!

The ACLU SoCal held their Centennial Celebration last night honoring Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert with the BILL OF RIGHTS AWARD. Congrats to the ACLU, Daniels, & the other Awardees having a profound impact on upholding & fighting for our democracy & social justice for all!

Getting to be together with Laura Kim laura kim, Marcus Hu and John Cooper John Cooper will be one of the great moments of this year. They have been such great change makers and artist supporters in our independent film ecosystem!

Tonight we’re screening the exquisite and moving THREE SEASONS written and directed by The Sundance Institute Lab Alum Tony Bui. The film premiered in 1999, winning the Grand Jury, Audience and Cinematography Awards. Wonderful to see Tony at our Alumni Party Sundance Film Festival!

Loved the premiere of GHOSTLIGHT ⁦Sundance Film Festival⁩, co-directed by Kelly O’Sullivan &Alex Thompson. It’s a beautiful film about a family experiencing grief where acting in a community production of Romeo & Juliet is life-changing. Great performances & full of humor and heart!

Such a beautiful luncheon hosted by Zions Bank honoring me and seven other women leaders including Rory Kennedy. I received the GIVING VOICE AWARD for my work ⁦The Sundance Institute⁩ with a beautiful intro from ⁦Amy Redford⁩ with moving words from Robert Redford.
