Surrey RCMP responded to a hazard along the Vaisakhi parade route on April 20 involving a scissor lift falling on wires. We worked alongside Surrey Fire Service, BC Emergency Health Services, & City of Surrey bylaw officers to keep people in the area safe. News Release: ow.ly/uCIN50RkKYr

The incident involving the scissor lift near Anvil Way and 128th Street has been safely resolved. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Surrey RCMP, Surrey Fire, & BC Hydro are on scene near Anvil Way & 128th Street, where a scissor lift has made contact with some wires. No injuries have been reported. People are asked to avoid the Vaisakhi parade route at this location to allow room for first responders & crews.
