As I told Inside Climate News, the Administration's consistent efforts to investigate sanitation issues in Lowndes County validates what we have been trying to give voice to for many years – and is hopefully an important step towards long-lasting solutions. insideclimatenews.org/news/10072023/…

I have reinstalled Twitter to respond to this story and make sure my voice is fully heard. I am Casey.

My real name is Alex but my mom decided it would be best to hide it for anonymity. But this is my story, not hers. This is not the free press’s story.

Eastwind books is so close to my heart and one of my most favorite places in Berkeley, I'm so sad to see its storefront go.

While they're closing their physical location they do still have online offerings at asiabookcenter.com!

The biggest study in the US to date showing ⬆️PFAS are linked to ⬇️ birthweight. In not just 1, but all 5 PFAS detected in 11 pregnancy cohorts across the US. Thank you ECHO Child Health Research for making this possible and U.S. EPA for starting to regulate PFAS in drinking water!

This is by no means a surprise but somehow every continued disappointment from elders like Alice Walker still hit me with force.
I listened to her speak in Oakland years ago and make an β€œends justify the means” argument about authoritarianism which has sat on my heart ever since
