🚨UPDATE🚨

Syracuse Police located Mr. Hughes around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23rd, in the 1900 block of Burnet Avenue. Unfortunately, he was found deceased.

The investigation into his death is active and ongoing. Right now, the death does not appear criminal in nature.

After over 12 hours of communication, a suspect has been arrested. This is still an active scene but residents no longer have to shelter in place. Thank you for your cooperation throughout this matter.

More details will be released as the investigation progresses.
