Are there gender-specific alphabets? Are there alphabets that are used almost exclusively to express a certain mood? The answer in both cases is yes--and they are, in fact, the same two scripts. Check out 'The Saddest Scripts' at wordpress.com/post/glli-us.o….

This is a great idea. If your newspaper ignores minority scripts, why not challenge them via Twitter to do what the Cherokee Phoenix does?
