It was the hottest April ever recorded, 1.58°C warmer than the estimate of the April average for 1850-1900. 1.5C is long dead. It's time to get very serious about climate mitigation, or this civilization is heading over a very steep cliff.

I thought poetry could change everything, could change history and could humanize, and I think that the illusion is very necessary to push poets to be involved and to believe. But now I think that poetry changes only the poet.

In terms of poetry, I'm struggling. Not the writing, but the reading. I guess it's a product of the state of the world, but I only want work that is full of rage, poison, is obtuse, ill-fitting. I have no room for triviality. I know this is unreasonable / I am unreasonable.
