The gig economy is cannibalising itself and it's workers who suffer.

New legislation has been passed that will soon allow minimum standards to be set in gig transport. Those standards are urgent.

The BCA's at it again.

Workers are facing a cost-of-living crisis while companies are making record profits. And they're still arguing for pay cuts.

The Australian public can see right through Qantas' shiny PR facade.

Qantas under Joyce has been the architect of its own demise. We need to see major investment to bring back good, secure aviation jobs and quality service standards.

Upgrades to lounges and changes to Frequent Flyer points aren't convincing anyone that Qantas has turned over a new leaf.

Qantas needs a complete paradigm shift—back towards valuing workers and the public.

The big 4 banks have made $32.4 billion in profits in the last financial year. With the long weekend ahead of us, they can and must pay up to keep cash moving. twu.com.au/press/banks-mu…

Robert, a QLD bus driver, bravely intervened last week to protect a young man from a violent assault and robbery.

His company sacked him.

This is appalling from Transdev and the company must reinstate him immediately.

Dutton calls Alan Joyce 'an exemplar for standing up on issues of core policy.'

Joyce headed the company responsible for the largest illegal sackings in Australian history.

Dutton will never be on the side of workers.

Of course there's an aviation skills shortage.

That's what happens when companies like Qantas illegally outsource thousands, and split the rest across 38 companies.

We need an independent commission that can act in workers' and travellers' interests.
