Great to join many thousands today, as #Sikhs in Kent celebrated #Vaisakhi with a Nagar Kirtan procession through town.

Huge logistical effort by Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara Gravesend volunteers, whom I thanked in my speech, while reflecting on today’s religious significance.

While Parliament is on recess and kids are on holiday, and many enjoy some deserved rest over the Easter break, my team and I held two more busy MP advice surgeries in Slough - helping out my constituents with the problems they are facing.

Great that Singh Sabha #Slough Sports Centre hosted the FA County #Girls #Football Festival - providing again an inclusive platform, not just for Sikhs, but our whole wider community to come together.

Hope to see some of the girls one day as #Lionesses representing our country.
