OK sports fans, there’s a possible appellate version of a Perry Mason moment looming in the immunity case next week, and it would send the case back to Chutkan pronto,

Opinion: This surprise argument could derail Trump’s effort to delay the Jan. 6 trial latimes.com/opinion/story/…

So pleased to report that our Mount Sinai-Yale long COVID (MY-LC) paper with @putrinolab & others is now published!! Proud of the hard work of all who contributed. We found biological signatures that can distinguish people with vs. without (1/) nature.com/articles/s4158…

Where does decision refusing removal leave Meadows? In a very bad place. He gambled heavily on winning & then getting immunity. Now his ability to cooperate w/ either Jack Smith or Fani Willis is a) of much less value & b) possibly even off the table. He is in a world of hurt.

This version of Bach’s first cello suite was recorded live in the Great Smoky Mountains. I’ve always thought of Suite No. 1 as “Nature at Play,” so it was a dream to play it with the birds, the trees, and the rushing brook. ▶️ yoyoma.lnk.to/natureatplay

Fani Willis’s just-filed supplemental brief zeroes in on these lines on inquiry and as much as accuses Meadows of perjury. He’s in the soup.

Litman: Trump’s Chief of Staff Mark Meadows seems to think he can avoid prosecution. Here’s how latimes.com/opinion/story/…

Is today Indictment Thursday? It would make sense of a lot of the data. But remember that once voted out, the indictment will be sealed and go to a judge who will unseal, which depending on when it occurs could be the next day.

Lawrence O'Donnell reporting the Trump lawyers girding for the indictment to come tomorrow. The one gap in the public knowledge is the apparent lack of a final meeting. But Trump attorneys surely wd know if they’ve decided to pass or if it’s already happened without the public’s awareness

🧵For context, this is the Los Angeles Times column I penned in August of 2022 that according to The Atlantic Tim Alberta's deep dive into CNN, had CEO Chris Licht bragging to his friends that he would 'destroy' me.

'History has taught them that when push comes to shove, the Republican “leadership” will always back down & placate the extremists...There’s a reason the official policy of the US government is to not negotiate with terrorists...'
