I visited a school in Chivay, Arequipa, Peru (3,635m above sea level) and trained 12 teachers on how to use a foldscope 🔬 it had been raining quite a bit recently and we found some rotifers in a water sample!! 🤓🎉 (Foldscope x Enseña Peru)

My latest fascination: tiny pores on plant leaves called 'stomata'. In last 2-3 days I have been grabbing leaves n observing its stomata using Foldscope. Here r a few: money plant, Zanzibar Gem, Jamun and a succulent. Will post more abt these fascinating pores. #scicomm #science
