This Gretzky card news reminds me that when I was around 8 I found 13 of my uncle’s 1933 baseball cards in a trunk in Grandpa’s basement. Only have these 11 today because I put the TWO Babe Ruth cards somewhere safe. Never found them again. They’d buy me a car today.

Doesn’t the introduction of 2 dozen more Gretzky rookie cards to what is a very questionable market depress the value of Gretzky rookie cards? A prudent winning bidder might want to destroy all but one perfect specimen.
