SaWeT expresses grave concern for the millions of Tigrayans displaced by the conflict who are facing yet another harsh rainy season under inadequate conditions.

Abandonment and loss of hope wreak havoc in the 70 kare IDP centre camp.

The situation in the IDP's is worsening while the international community ignores the situation of these people who only seek to live in dignified conditions. An intervention of the international community is necessary.

A year ago my friend and colleague Ximena Borrazás and I were in the Tigray region of northern Ethiopia, documenting the situation after 2 years of war in Tigray.

Arrest warrants issued for the crime of using starvation as a method of warfare against Palestinians. Let's hope that this will form the basis for equal action against Ethiopia or Sudan where humanitarian aid is also weaponized against the population.

This person worked at EthioHRC, a government human rights org that is supposed to hold itself accountable. You can imagine how that's going.
