How dare you fight against residential schools just because you think you’re right.
How dare you fight against slavery just because you think you’re right.
How dare you protest against the Iraq war just because you think you’re right.
How dare you protest the Holocaust…

When one of your laws is the racist based on the oppression and theft from a group of people, your whole system is corrupt.

Civil disobedience is the act of breaking laws because we think we are right. That's literally what it is.

the last segregated school in canada was closed in 1983, and the last residential school in 1996. the canadian state exists upon deeply rooted anti-Black and anti-Indigenous racism which is reproduced through persisting structures of violence

We are importing people to create a permanent underclass with no rights and vulnerable to administrative violence. Please be aware that a lot of these people are racialized. Women are especially vulnerable under these circumstances

The Oklahoma House passed SB 1854, criminalizing the unhoused who camp on state property: a $50 fine or 15 days in jail.

As someone who was unhoused for 15 months and still struggles with housing insecurity I can tell you this will only worsen our housing crisis. 🧵1/

the elite really cannot fathom that the “most educated” students see Palestinians as human. the mere presence a keffiyeh on Columbia’s Alma Mater statue made donors throw a fit until they fenced it off last semester. suffice it to say that their brains are short-circuiting now.

We live in a world where students protesting against this is considered controversial. Humanity has sunk to an irreparable low. I have never been this convinced that evil rules the world.
