Our 7yo was delighted that Hamza Yassin was going to be in strictly. She made a fan poster of him and #jowita that has been pride of place on her wall for months now. She’s beyond excited and we’re all rooting for #TeamHamza to win the #strictlyfinal .

My what would have been utterly boring trip to Screwfix earlier was turned into a little window of delight, as I happened to catch Natasha Hodgson ‘s exploding library ep exploring Kazuo Ishiguro’s The Unconsoled on radio4. Fab stuff.

I loved Fanboy by Joe Sellman-Leava at Pleasance. Such is the power of Joe’s talents that he spoke about Star Wars quite a lot and yet I still loved the show, that is not easily done! Great stuff.

The Traverse are also playing a blinder with Wilf. Gareth Nicholls works his usual magic on James Ley ‘s hilarious and touching script. The trio of performances are ace, spearheaded by the inimitable Michael Dylan who is always a joy to watch. Strongly recommend!
