Was so pleased to catch Eilidh Loan ās wonderful Moorcroft at TRON THEATRE last night. So many people told me first time round that Iād love it, and they were right. Get along and see it on tour across scotland if you can.
Canāt believe we open tonight. Thanks to everyone National Theatre of Scotland for making it happen and for such a smooth and joyous rehearsal period. Now to meet our first audience. Canāt wait! Letās go #dearbilly
Our 7yo was delighted that Hamza Yassin was going to be in strictly. She made a fan poster of him and #jowita that has been pride of place on her wall for months now. Sheās beyond excited and weāre all rooting for #TeamHamza to win the #strictlyfinal .
My what would have been utterly boring trip to Screwfix earlier was turned into a little window of delight, as I happened to catch Natasha Hodgson ās exploding library ep exploring Kazuo Ishiguroās The Unconsoled on radio4. Fab stuff.
All the best to the wonderful team Reading Rep Theatre with the final performance of this run of Jekyll and Hyde. I was blown away by the production and by the astonishing performance by @abrissonj . Thank you.
I loved Fanboy by Joe Sellman-Leava at Pleasance. Such is the power of Joeās talents that he spoke about Star Wars quite a lot and yet I still loved the show, that is not easily done! Great stuff.
The Traverse are also playing a blinder with Wilf. Gareth Nicholls works his usual magic on James Ley ās hilarious and touching script. The trio of performances are ace, spearheaded by the inimitable Michael Dylan who is always a joy to watch. Strongly recommend!
