A Manchester-based artist - also selected by The Manchester Contemporary Art Fund for MCR Art Gallery - having a global impact. (cf. Louise Giovanelli.) London is the historical route to the international art world, but is now arguably an optional conduit rather than a compulsory location.

This was a refrain I heard a lot in MIPIM, from global companies who had chosen to invest in Manchester. 'Delivery'. Manchester (and clearly Leeds too) are seen as stable, reliable cities who do what they say, which is consistently getting things done and delivering on ambitions.

Not a penalty, I'd be livid if that was given against us, but heyho. I'm not entirely sure the result will materially affect the end result of either teams' league campaigns.
