Trudeau decided to hike his carbon tax by another 23% even though 70% of Canadians and 70% of provincial premiers opposed it. He is not listening.

Common sense Conservatives will continue to stand up for Canadians who need relief, not more taxes.

Today, the House of Commons passed a common sense Conservative motion that calls on Trudeau to listen to Canada’s premiers on the misery his carbon tax is causing Canadians.

Provinces should have the right to opt out of the Trudeau tax and pursue other responsible ideas for lowering emissions without taxes. It's just common sense.

Justin Trudeau has unleashed economic misery across Canada.

Common sense Conservatives will not agree to support the budget unless it axes the Trudeau tax on food, builds homes, not bureaucracy, and caps the spending.

Common sense Conservatives know what it takes to fix the budget.

We have done it before and we will do it again.

Justin Trudeau continues his costly Carbon Tax agenda:

- Canadian farmers pay more to produce the food.
- Canadian families pay more to buy the food.

He is not worth the cost.

We pause to honour the anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, a pivotal moment in Canada's history defined by immense courage, unity, and sacrifice. As we remember the valour of those who fought and the many who fell, let us carry their legacy forward with pride.

Today during a visit to the GTA with our leader Pierre Poilievre, we got to hear the inspiring story of Amar Deol, who went from being a 17-year-old truck driver, to having one of the fastest growing companies, Amar Group, in Canada.

Bottom line on Trudeau’s announcement:

It doesn’t build any new homes. ZERO. It will give groups $1.5 billion to buy up homes that already exist.

Housing costs have doubled since he promised to lower them in 2015.

Trudeau is not worth the cost of housing.

After 8 years of Trudeau, home ownership has become more unaffordable than at anytime in Canadian history. It takes 63.5% of median household PRE-TAX income to make payments on a typical home.

Trudeau's Housing Hell is not worth the cost.
